I'm So Glad You're My Dad Card...

Here is a little quickie card that I made today. I did not use the Cricut or Cuttlebug at all. I just used some paper and cardstock that I had on hand. I will post the directions and the materials used tomorrow sometime. It is after 3 am and I need to get to bed. I just wanted to at least post the picture of it tonight. Excuse the fraying of the ribbon at the end, I did not see that until after I took the picture..lol..oopsie!

WOW..Look At ALL This Ribbon I Got For $.10 A Piece....

So I just got home from Marc's and I came home with a HUGE bag full of Peel 'N' Stick Ribbon for .10 cents a piece. You get 3 yards in each package. Then they also had confetti packets 3 for $1.00. I ended up getting 71 packages of ribbon and a bunch of confetti. I was so tempted to buy a lot more but what would I do with it all? lol If they had more of a variety then I would have for sure bought a bunch more.

If you have a Marc's by you RUN, RUN, RUN and grab some. They only had 4 different kinds at my Marc's but still..

Just Got Rid Of A Major Virus On My Computer!!!

So as you all know I have been having major internet problems for awhile. I really have not been able to post pictures of my cards and things and I have even been having major issues even trying to post a simple update. Earlier today my husband told me that I had a major virus on my computer. It was a BAD, bad one. Thank goodness he knows how to fix it otherwise I would have to take my computer to someone and spend alot of money and time to get it removed. It took him a few hours but the virus is now gone.

So, I am back and am able to post things again.. YAY!! The thing is that I had no clue that I had a virus. I knew something was wrong with my computer but really had no clue what was going on.

I have a BUNCH of new Cricut Cartridges and other fun tools that I got recently. I cannot wait to start using them and posting my creations for you all. Tomorrow is my first day back since all of this happened. Hope you all are doing well and I will talk to you soon. ~Terri

Update On Car Decal Cartridge & Gypsy Linking Problem

So, I tried and tried to link this Car Decals cartridge several times. I even tried turning it backwards and it did not work. So after many many attempts I decided to call Provo Craft and they were SO nice. They are sending me a brand new Car Decals cartridge for free. Thank you Provo Craft!!

 I have never had this problem before but I am so happy with the outcome. Thanks for your suggestions!!

Jump Rope For Heart Valentine Treat Bags...

My 10 year old daughter Hallie is having a fundraiser for the

American Heart Society at her school.

 It is called Jump Rope For Heart.

So Hallie wanted to make something to give to those who donated to this cause. She came up with the idea all by herself. We made these together and Hallie just loves them so much.

The materials we used was my brand new
Martha Stewart Holidays "Cherish Hearts" edge punch and

just some scrap pink cardstock that I had on hand.

I got the little valentine candy hearts at Target and the little bags I got from Walmart a long time ago. Then we used 2 stamps from TPC Studio and they are called "Greetings" clear stamps. One was just a heart and the other was the saying Thank You!

I am so very proud of Hallie for wanting to give back to such a great cause and for also wanting to make something for those who wish to donate.

Help! Can't Link My New "Car Decals" Cricut Cartridge With My Gypsy...

Hi all! I have this cartridge and I am having major trouble trying to link it to my Gypsy. Is there anyone else who has been having this issue? I tried updating my Gypsy and that was not it. I would LOVE some suggestions and help on this issue. Thanks so much! ~Terri

Sorry That I Have Not Been On Here Lately...

I just wanted to let you all know what has been going on with me. I left an update on TwoPinkPeas.Blogspot.Com a few days ago but I thought I should leave one on here too. Alot of you are not followers of Two Pink Peas and I did not want to leave you all out. If you get a chance please go to my Two Pink Peas blogspot and follow me there. I will be closing this blog some time in the near future and I would hate to lose any of you followers. Every single one of you mean so much to me. Here is the link..www.twopinkpeas.blogspot.com. Thank you in advance for doing that. I have alot planned and hope to be back full steam ahead very very soon. I am working on it daily.

Alot has been going on. Right now my 11 year old son Casey has pneumonia. He has been sick for going on 3 weeks now. He has already finished a full dose of antibiotics and steroids but was not getting better. So I had to take him to get a chest x-ray. Yep, he has pneumonia. I am trying my hardest to keep him out of the hospital. We both have asthma so anytime he gets a cold he gets it in his lungs just like I do. Fingers crossed!

We also had a death in our family, had major internet issues and things have been just all around crazy including Casey being sick for almost a month. I am re-doing my craft room. It is a big huge mess right now but I am working on it trying to get it back to normal. What a feat that is..lol If you could only see what it looks like right now.. sheesh!

My daughter Hallie who just turned 10 is doing a Jump Rope For Heart for the American Heart Association. She really wants to help as much as she can. Her grandfather, my dad passed away and had some heart issues and cancer. So this is very close to home. We are making little baggies with little valentine hearts in them to give to those who are donating to this cause. I will be putting pictures up and directions on how to make them. They are really cute. Hallie is such a sweetheart and it just melts my heart that she cares about this cause so much.

Anyhow, I just wanted to check in. I hope to be back once my craft room is back and I can actually work and find things..lol. I hope you all are doing well. Talk to you all soon... ~Terri
